Co-opp Plumbing was formed
Bob “Pops” Rader and his brother-in-law, Dave Cochran, formed CO-OPP Plumbing in 1984. With a fleet of 10 service trucks, Bob & Dave specialized in residential plumbing construction and commercial construction.

The Family company continues to grow
In 2001, after substantial growth in commercial and residential construction, Dave retired leaving Bob as sole owner of CO-OPP Plumbing. That same year, Bob’s son, Andrew Rader, joined the company as it continued to grow while expanding into industrial, educational and public utility plumbing construction.

Dedicated plumbing service is created
In 2019, Andrew Rader assumed full control of CO-OPP Plumbing after the retirement of his father, Bob. Andrew, along with his wife, Amy, who runs the accounting and payroll department, continue to grow the family’s plumbing company. The couples first company expansion was to create a dedicated plumbing service division.

Outside of running the family business, Andrew & Amy have 5 children and together, they all serve their local church and throughout the community. Since 2008, they’ve helped to organize outreach events that have benefited families and individuals throughout Kern County. Their sole passion is to share the love and hope of Christ and apply it to every aspect of their lives.
